London Fashion Week, Autumn / Winter 2012-2013 - Vivienne Westwood
Quirky orange-haired designer Vivienne Westwood returned to the catwalk on Sunday (19 February), taking her customary turn on centre stage at London Fashion Week. A hardy veteran of the punk scene who has seen dozens of trends come and go in her storied career, Westwood drew on classic British tailoring and traditions for the show of her Red Label collection, which traditionally looks to her own archives for inspiration and ideas.

Royal Drama Tells The True Story of A King Gone Mad
'A Royal Affair' is the latest period film from Danish director Nikolaj Arcel ('Truth About Men', 'Lost Souls'). The political costume drama tells the story of a young queen who marries King Christian VII (Mikkel Boe Folsgaard ) only to fall in love and become pregnant by his physician, Johann Friedrich Struensee, played by actor Mads Mikkelsen.

They say weather is a national obsession in Britain but perhaps more for Burberry Prorsum's Christopher Bailey than for most. With a clap of thunder and a torrent of realistic rain running down the sides of a glass tent, the luxury brand's creative chief sent his umbrella-toting models down the catwalk in a finale that brought a smile to everyone's faces.

84th Academy Awards - Governors Ball Preview
There is not a seat with your name on it at next Sunday's Governors Ball - the Academy's official after-party of the 84th annual Oscars, held in The Grand Ballroom, atop Hollywood and Highland Centre. Only about half of the show's some 3,000 attendees get a ball ticket. And, this year, even the lucky handful that does get an invitation won't have a reserved seat. Nor will there be an official sit-down dinner.

2012 BRIT Awards - Preparations
The GRAMMYs are over - but there's another top night in music coming: the 2012 BRIT Awards. Britain's most prestigious music awards ceremony will air live from London's O2 Arena on Tuesday and will feature performances from Adele, Rihanna, 'Coldplay', Noel Gallagher, 'Florence + The Machine', Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Adele, 'Blur' and Olly Murs.
